Corey Lucero-Perkins, LCSW
Corey graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and Summa Cum Laude with her Master of Social Work (MSW).
Corey has been in the helping profession, providing counseling services to a wide array of populations since 1998. She has worked extensively with teens, families, and couples in Schools, non profit Counseling Centers, Kaiser Permanente, University of California Medical Center and Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center. She has gained significant experience working with various populations who may have anxiety, depression, eating disorders, anger, trauma, and grief. In addition to providing individual therapy, she also has experience facilitating groups. Specifically, she regularly facilitates Women’s Depression Group, Teen Anger Management, Eating Disorder Groups, and Divorce Groups (for children).
Even more important is Corey’s unique ability to connect with her clients, no matter the age, gender or issue.

Deborah Barnes, LMFT

Deborah graduated with her Master of Science from California State University, Sacramento in 1993. She has been working with families in the greater Sacramento Area since 1990. Deborah has been in private practice in Elk Grove since 1999. She works with school aged children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive training and experience in working with families of special needs children, grief/loss issues, anxiety, depression and divorce issues. In addition to providing therapy, Deborah is also a private mediator and child custody evaluator. She is an appointed member of the Sacramento County Superior Court Private Mediator Panel. As a member of the panel Deborah provides court ordered non-confidential mediations, reunification therapy, individual and family therapy, co-parenting therapy, and private confidential mediations.
Deborah is a warm and energetic therapist who predominately uses cognitive behavioral techniques to empower her clients to seek the changes they desire in their lives. She stresses the importance of nutrition, exercise and an over all healthy life style as the keys to good mental health.
